I love to tell stories. To me, each event I attend and capture, and every individual I have the honor to work with has a story to tell that is worth telling. These stories are better seen than heard, and oftentimes I find the magic moments that otherwise are too fleeting to remember. That is why I fell in love with photography in the beginning and still to this day is what brings me the most joy in my business. Memorializing stories in imagery to last decades.

Welcome! I'm Emma!

Cincinnati Wedding Photographer and Lifestyle Portraits

Photographing Weddings and Lifestyle Portraits sessions are more than just a job for me! I love telling the stories of the couples, families, businesses and individuals that I work with. Traveling is an added perk, I love exploring new places! One of my favorite things about my business is how I have been able to turn a passion for art into a living where I continually am blessed to meet new faces, reconnect with familiar ones, and see love in news aways with every click of my camera. You will see through the sessions and events on this blog how love grows in unique ways. How people change for the best year after year. And also how I see the world around me.

I started this journey when I was fresh out of high school. I didn't know how greatly my life would be impacted from capturing weddings and families. It has been such an honor to do so over the last decade. Being able to capture my hometown and surrounding areas has been such a treat for me! I LOVE Cincinnati and I am proud to claim the title of a Cincinnati Wedding Photographer. It is a tight but large community of creatives in this region. I am thrilled to work with the best of the best! You'll find some amazing wedding industry vendors linked in the weddings blogged here. Their work is so important to what I do, it isn't only photographs that matter at the end of the wedding day, although they may last the longest ;)

The Clarks- Glendale Lyceum Wedding

Maggie and Alex had planned an wonderfully extravagant garden party wedding at Glendale Lyceum, a location that has a very special place in Maggie’s family’s heart. As soon as we entered the venue to begin capturing the day, we were greeted with the sweet aroma of peonies and hydrangeas that were ever so carefully being crafted into giant centerpieces. Greenery draped the ceilings of the reception space, and magic was already happening. Every tiny detail was thought about and planned. Down to the gorgeous table scapes and custom bar paintings. Upstairs in the bridal suite, music and laughter was drifting down the stairs as we made our way to the bride-to-be. I could tell it was going to be a fun day!

Of course, as summer weddings so often do, it began raining while the girls finished up getting ready. This little good luck charm for the ages was definitely on their side. The down pour cleared up just in time for outside portraits each time we needed it to, and gave us the most beautiful evening spent with a very enthusiastic group of guests. But before I jump to the reception, let me gush a little bit on the incredible ceremony!

The Chapel at St. Aloysius is something from a fairytale! Fit for a royal and hidden in plain sight, this stunning setting left everyone speechless as the two proclaimed their vows to each other with their friends and family tearing up in witness. A cheery bubble exit from the ceremony started off the celebrations as the guests made their way to indulge in cocktail hour. The newlyweds spent some time with their immediate family and close friends for portraits.

Walking back into the reception was a sight to behold! I loved capturing the first look of Maggie, Alex and their beautiful beloved club hall turned ballroom! That sweet and emotional reaction of seeing all the planning and hard work come to fruition was just the momentum that jump-started and amazingly fun night of celebrating! Great music, heartfelt toasts and lots of dancing kept the atmosphere buzzing with excitement!

Sneaking away from all the action, we had some fun with sparklers (it was July after all!) with the couple’s wedding party and family. In the most perfect timing, a late night snack arrived just as the last sparkler fizzled out. Making their way inside for Taco Bell and signature drinks to keep the party going, we said our farewells and wished this sweet couple all the happiness in the world! Congratulations to The Clarks!
